Job Requirements: The Freelance Photo Editor supports the Senior Photo Editor in performing photo research for daily articles on Harvard Business Review’s homepage, in addition to designing custom image solutions, formatting social media posts for the art department’s Instagram page and performing daily administrative tasks related to maintaining the HBR voice and brand on digital platforms.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop is essential; Illustrator, After Effects as well as familiarity with WordPress is a plus). This includes understanding image file formats and formatting images for digital environments.

  • Excellent photo research skills, and knowledge of Creative Commons Licensing and resources

Job Description: The Atlantic is looking for a Senior Photo Editor to join the newsroom. This role will primarily focus on photography for the print magazine, and provide support as needed on digital projects. The ideal candidate will be highly creative and a driven problem-solver with sound journalistic judgment and superb aesthetic taste. Job Description: Science’s Visual Department is seeking a Senior Designer to join its award-winning team.

The Senior Designer position exists to create layouts for and maintain the visual aesthetic of Science magazine. They work as a project manager to coordinate all the visual assets in print and online.
