The Society of Publication Designers is excited to announce the Gold and Silver Medal Winners of our 55th Annual Design Competition. Ninety-two categories were awarded Gold Medals and 81 categories were awarded Silver Medals for work in both print and digital platforms. The 55th Annual SPD Awards can be viewed here. In a series of five episodes, all the finalists were showcased with special introductions from the SPD 55 Co-Chairs José Reyes (Principal and Creative Director of Metaleap Creative) and Carla Frank (Strategic Creative Director of Carla Frank Creative), Digital Co-Chairs, Sandra Garcia (Staff Product Designer at Twitter) and Dennis Huynh (Creative Director of BuzzFeed News), Magazine of the Year Chair, Robert Newman (Creative Director, This Old House) Brand of the Year Chair, Luke Hayman (Partner, Pentagram), SPD President Jeff Glendenning (Creative Director, Brand Identity, The New York Times), and SPD’s Executive Director, Keisha Dean.
