Designer, Condé Nast Style Collection
/Job Description: Condé Nast seeks a Designer to work within the Style Collection (brands such as Allure and Glamour). The Digital Designer works alongside editors, photo editors, and digital/social media producers, to create inventive design solutions. This role will provide a deep understanding of digital and print platforms, including editorial goals and engagement objectives. This is a digital-first position with various print responsibilities.
Responsibilities may include:
Work with the Art Directors and editorial team to develop top-level visual solutions
Maintain brand standards across all digital properties including websites, social platforms, newsletters, and videos
Commission original artwork, including illustrations, infographics, icons, and animations
Assist in managing workflow and project management for all digital edition projects
Help keep and maintain the digital creative budget
Design FOB and feature layouts
Job Requirements:
2+ years relevant work experience in media or relevant field
Highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent communication skills
A strong portfolio of work designing across a range of platforms: digital, print, and social
Demonstrated experience commissioning original artwork
Well-versed in SEO best practices and social media trends
Extensive knowledge of Adobe CS software is a must; experience with Adobe DPS a major plus
Experience using Sketch, HTML, and CSS are a plus; illustration skills are a plus
