/Job Description: The Multimedia Graphic and User Experience (UX) Designer represents the organization's strategies and brand standards in a visually appropriate manner. The Multimedia Graphic and UX Designer has expertise in conceptualizing creative solutions and developing design concepts that drive revenue and brand preference. The Multimedia Graphic and UX Designer develops comprehensive strategies for multimedia campaigns, strategic communications plans and initiatives health system-wide. The Multimedia Graphic and UX Designer analyzes visual storytelling challenges and creates concepts designed to connect with end users that result in a positive user experience that achieves enterprise goals, delivers on all stages of a project, and work in any medium necessary to support strategies.
Job Requirements:
Required Education:
Specialized degree or Bachelor of Arts in multimedia design or other applicable area of study required.
Preferred Education:
Specialized degree or Master of Arts in multimedia design or other applicable area of study is preferred.
Required Experience:
Seven years of experience in design in marketing and corporate environments with knowledge of high-level creative strategies and brand management. Demonstrated initiative to organize and improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Experience:
Nine years of experience in design in marketing and corporate environments with knowledge of high-level creative strategies and brand management. Demonstrated initiative to organize and improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
Health care experience and ability to coordinate large-scale projects.
Required Computer/Software Knowledge:
Adobe Creative Suite and Desktop Publishing
Preferred Computer/Software Knowledge:
Adobe Creative Suite, Desktop Publishing and stay up-to-date on all design software trends
Certification preferred in one or more of the following:
Adobe Creative Suite
Animation and Motion Graphics
Mobile Development
Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Produces high quality work and ensures visual communication and approved brand standards are met. Balances competing priorities and multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
Highly adept at current multimedia platforms as well as digital and traditional print design.
Understands the fundamentals of typography in the print and digital space.
Excellent image/photo editing skills.
Must be collaborative and able to work well in a team setting.
Must be proficient in print and digital design.
Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
