Editorial Designer, Point Five
/Job Description: Point Five is a New York City design studio specializing in editorial and identity design with an educational, cultural or political focus.
FULL-TIME DESIGNER
We’re looking for a well-rounded full-time designer to join our creative team. We work seamlessly between print and digital projects and the successful candidate must have strengths in both media, as well as a demonstrated interest in editorial design. Applicants must be smart, curious, and comfortable taking the initiative to solve problems. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must for juggling multiple deadlines. Graceful under pressure and a sense of humor a must. Love for dogs a plus.
Position requires 2-3 years of experience, but the right entry-level individual will also be considered. This position will work directly with the studio principals on a variety of editorial projects, assisting on concepts, research, design, and production. This is a full-time staff position with benefits; salary commensurate with experience.
Job Requirements: Proficient at Adobe CS: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. Sketch, HTML and CSS experience a plus, but not required.
