Associate Photo Editor, Rachael Ray Every Day

Job Description: The Associate Photo Editor works closely with the Photo Director from concept to execution of the magazine. The role requires a nimble self starter who is solution oriented, incredibly organized, and detail oriented.

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for photo production of select stories

  • Conduct photo research for the magazine

  • Contribute visual inspiration and concepts for photo shoots

  • Create and maintain budget spreadsheets

  • Track and input photo credits

  • Responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including: submitting invoices and expense reports, ordering hi res imagery, generating contracts, maintaining prop closet, etc.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Role Requirements:

  • A can-do attitude

  • 3-4 years of work experience in an industry related position

  • Bachelor’s Degree in photography, art, design, or communications

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere)

  • A keen eye and genuine passion for photography
