Job Description: Fast Company is seeking a freelance art production associate to work on the print magazine. You will work closely with the managing editor and art department during each issue’s production cycle to ensure the magazine’s creative standards are met.

Job Requirements:

What you’ll be doing:

• Route proofs among staff

• Track hi-res images and layouts

• Work with pre-press on imaging needs

• Update templates and transition between issues

• Create issue archive and rights

• Transfer print content to digital CMS

• Assist managing editor with day-to-day operations during production cycle

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Previous print magazine experience

• Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign

• Extremely detail oriented and organized

• Ability to work quickly and accurately

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Adobe Creative Suite, K4, WordPress, and basic tech troubleshooting knowledge preferred
