Job Description: Inc.com is seeking an art intern to join its team. The intern will assist photo editors, art directors, and writers in creating visual content for stories across the website and social media. The candidate should be self-motivated and willing to take the lead on a project and run with it while also being comfortable in a very collaborative and communicative team environment and fast work pace.

The candidate will work with the Associate Photo Editor on daily articles and report to the Digital Production Manager on larger projects.

Duties include:
-Creating photo illustrations and design solutions for website and social media sites
-Working with standing creative templates and designs to create ongoing art assets for various projects
-Processing and stylize pickup art
-Research stock and wire agencies to find pictures or illustrations for columnist articles
-Researching illustrators, photographers, and design portfolios for projects
-Uploading creative assets to various CMS platforms

Job Requirements:
-Highly organized and detail oriented
-Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite
-Technical understanding of file format conversion and optimization
-Pursuing a degree in the visual arts
-Experience with various of the following: graphic design/web design, photography, video, animation, illustration
-Desire to work with a very collaborative and communicative team
-Strong desire to work in online journalism
