Job Description: Flagship Publishing is hiring a Publication Designer in Northern Colorado to help expand our company's growing family of statewide magazines.

The winning applicant will become a key member of our team, helping create stunning magazine layouts and marketing material for our subscribers across the United States.

With three bimonthly statewide magazines, calendars, travel publications, direct marketing campaigns, websites and social media feeds, we always have a deadline around the corner. We're looking for a hardworking team player who is highly organized, efficient and excited to learn/work in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal applicants will have solid design principles that guide them in creating clean, concise and engaging editorial layouts that tell a story with beauty, grace and elegance.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising, integrated communications or related field of study
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe CS: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Experience working in magazine publishing, marketing or related industry
- Typography
- Color theory

Job Requirements:

Job Duties
- Design magazine editorial layouts (covers, features, departments)
- Design specialty projects, including calendars, books and travel magazines
- Perform color corrections
- Assist in sourcing photography
- Revise publication style guides
- Revise style sheets, templates and InDesign Master Files
- Perform photo color corrections
- Upload files to printer, preflight check, corrections, etc.
- Assist in creating client advertisements
- Assist in designing Flagship marketing campaigns, websites, direct marketing campaigns and social media initiatives
- Other duties as assumed, assigned and developed
